3 Miracles of Jesus
1.
Jesus heals a paralysed man (Luke) - There was some people who wanted to get a
paralysed man to Jesus but couldn’t because of the crowd that surrounded him,
so they took the man onto the roof and lowered him down on a mat right infront
of Jesus. Jesus told the man to stand
up and walk home with his mat and immediately he did just that. The crowds were
shocked and delighted with what they had seen and gave praise to god.
2.
Jesus heals a woman with internal bleeding (Mark) - There was a woman who had suffered
from internal bleeding, she had been to see a doctor but just got worse and
worse and worse. She had heard about Jesus and his miracles so one day, she
went up to him in a crowd and thought ‘if I touch his clothes, I will be
healed!’ so she reached out and touched his clothes and immediately she could
feel herself getting better; however, Jesus had felt his power being released
and turned around and said “who touched my clothes?” The woman was scared so
she fell to his feet and begged his forgiveness. “Please,” she said. “Please
forgive me!” and he did. “Your faith has cured you.” he replied and the woman
lived in peace and free of suffering for the rest of her life.
3.
Catching a fish with a coin in its mouth (Matthew) – Jesus needed to pay the taxes so he
told Peter to catch a fish. The first fish that Peter caught had a four-drachma
coin in its mouth. They paid the taxes for the temple and carried on with their
trip in Capernaum.

4 Pictures of Jesus and why I like them
![]() |
This is a picture of Jesus on the cross – I like this
picture because of the sunset behind him and the fact that he is a silhouette
against the bright colours.
